It's our loved ones that matter most in the world, so it's such a shame if we focus exclusively on work and neglect our home, especially if that is done to avoid taking responsibility for relationship problems within the family.

Civilization is formed from nations, and each family serves as the basis of the nation. Therefore it's important that the parents of each family set a great example to their children. This will influence neighboring families and the generations to follow.

If you're a child of the 60's like me, you'll remember this from the Incredible String Band song, "A Very Cellular Song." They were quoting the Gaelic blessing, that shows those ancient Scots were not just warriors. As Ravi Shankar said, "Know the wholeness, perfection and beauty that you are. Learn to rest in that place within you that is your true home. Find the love you seek, by first finding the love within yourself."
