Astrology: Calculating the Chart.

clear.gif (807 bytes) While few people are actually going to work out astrological charts by hand, that is, using paper, pencil, it is, I believe, important to know how to do it.

The tools you require to make a horoscope are (in addition to writing and drawing tools) are an atlas and an ephemeris. An ephemeris is a book or booklet containing information about the positions of the planets, etc. A bugbear is knowing daylight saving, when this differs from legal time in a particular country. The atlases by Shanks are a definitive source of information.
