your rewards through - Meditation:
Find a quiet place. Light a candle. Sit in a comfortable chair with an upright back. Relax, letting your eyes rest gently on the candle flame. If you haven't a candle pick another object to rest your eyes on. Breathe slowly. Let your awareness settle on your heart, at the hollow centre of your chest. Let your breath slow naturally as much as possible. Silently count from 1 - 30 with each outbreath. Do this for 5 mins. Emerge from the meditation slowly. Proceed with the exploration straight away.
Your empowering affirmation - "I am a fully mature person"
Your form of expression - Spontaneous writing
To envisage your rewards undertake the meditation method above. Before
you practice the meditation have a pad, pen and an A4 sheet of paper
ready. Title your sheet of paper MY REWARDS - A FULLY MATURE PERSON
and start the first sentence "I am a person who is..."
In the meditation repeat the affirmation "I am a fully mature
person." Once the meditation is complete remain seated and keep
your awareness centred in your heart. Pick up the pad, pen and paper
and start writing spontaneously. Do not attempt to judge, edit or
control what you are writing. Simply let it flow. Write quickly freehand.
Fill the A4 page and afterwards put the page away. Return to it a
few days later to reflect on your writing. Take what you have written
and lovingly edit and polish it into a vision that best expresses
how you can be. Type this A4 page out on your computer and, if you
wish, frame it. Hang it somewhere in your house, or keep it in a drawer
and refer to it often.
This A4 page expresses who you really are. Let this be the goal for
the sort of person you intend to become. Fall in love with this image
you have created for yourself. Feel it deeply. Be passionate about
achieving full maturity. Let this passion carry you there.
