~ LIFE PURPOSE ~

"When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be." —Patanjali

"All of life is a near-death experience." —Alan Harris

"When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice." —Cherokee Expression

"It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving." —Mother Teresa

"People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost." —Dalai Lama

We look forward to the time when the Power of Love will replace the Love of Power. Then will our world know the blessings of Peace. –William E. Gladstone

We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing. –George Bernard Shaw

I've come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that's as unique as a fingerprint - and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you. –Oprah Winfrey

The purpose of life is not to fight against evil and misfortune; it is to unveil magnificence. –Alan Cohen

It's not easy to acknowledge that you're missing out on the fullness of life, that perhaps there's a deep pain or void - a sense that's something is wrong, or a realization that there's untapped potential that may be going to waste. Or as one person recent told me: "I feel so adrift in my life. I've fallen into a routine that's feeling more and more like a rut. I'm tired of lying awake at night wondering if this all there is to life. There's just got to be more."

Or like another client shared: "My last child is going away to college soon and suddenly being a mom - what I thought was my life purpose - well... it's pretty much finished. Now, I feel lost. I don't quite know who I am anymore."

But there is hope - there really is! Maybe there's nothing wrong, only something missing, and for many people that missing element that is so key to unlocking the wonders of life is clarity of purpose - knowing your true life purpose and designing your life to be a true and authentic expression of that purpose.

But how do you go about identifying your purpose for living? Learn about a proven, spiritually based and practical process that has already assisted thousands to clarify their life purpose...

One ship sails East,
And another West,
By the self-same winds that blow,
Tis the set of the sails
And not the gales,
That tells the way we go.

Like the winds of the sea
Are the waves of time,
As we journey along through life,
Tis the set of the soul,
That determines the goal,
And not the calm or the strife.

–Ella Wheeler Wilcox

"Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams, who looks inside awakes." —Carl Gustav Jung

"Wisdom is knowing what path to take next... Integrity is taking it."

"We can't change the wind, but we can adjust the sails."

"If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much." —Jim Rohn

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." —Mark Twain

"The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it." —Michaelangelo

"It is never too late to become what you might have been." —George Elliot

"I had found a kind of serenity, a new maturity... Feeling that way turns your whole life around; living becomes the act of giving." —Beverly Sills

"A coward gets scared and quits. A hero gets scared, but still goes on."

The Dilemma

To laugh is to risk appearing a fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk rejection.
To place your dreams before a crowd is to risk ridicule.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure.

But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

The person who risks nothing does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.

He may avoid suffering and sorrows, but he cannot learn, feel, change, grow, or love.

Chained by his certitudes, he is a slave - he has forfeited his freedom.

Only a person who takes risks is FREE

"Just a short note of thanks for the CDs. I've only had them for several days now but I already feel they are perhaps the most interesting compilation I have yet seen. Worth far more than the price of admission. The browser linked structure works well and makes it easy to manage such a large storehouse of information. It is rarely that I find something I like as much as this or that I feel strongly enough to write a note like this."
