"DARK CHARIOT"–Synopses

by Keith Wakelam

Synopsis of "GUARDIANS OF THE STARWAYS"

The Guardians are an elite force who have the task of keeping the Starways open throughout the Galaxy, mainly for pilgrim souls en route to the heaven worlds (analogy to Knights Templar). The Commander of one of their spaceships, sent to investigate why traffic from Earth is interrupted, falls into a psychic net around the planet, placed there by the Kurendara, a race of ETs who are planning to use Earthmen to overthrow the Guardians.
The Guardian Commander's soul essence is trapped in the foetus of a Marguerite Sanson, who grows up to become a Sergeant in the British Army Royal Signals.
She is offered a post in Washington DC, receiving secret messages by a form of telepathy involving knowledge of Morse Code.
She is transferred to Area 51 in Nevada and finds she is receiving data on British women who have been implanted with genetically altered foetuses. Due to the influence of the Guardian lodged in her mind she becomes adept at receiving information from the Aliens. They use her for receiving technical information also that is of great value to the space programme in England.
When US Intelligence become aware of this they want the information exclusively for themselves. They threaten Marguerite with prosecution for prostitution in order to get her to desert her post. She escapes and finds sanctuary with a spiritual group in Sedona, Az. There she tries to gain contact with the Guardians, under the influence of the Commander who shares her consciousness.
The Guardian base on the Moon then decides to remove the barriers between the two conscious states in Marguerite's mind, and she is thrown into a coma while this is happening. When she is taken to hospital the C.I.A. catches up with her and takes her to a secret underground base in the mountains. They pretend she has died and stage a fake funeral in Las Vegas, but her friends discover that the coffin is empty.
When Marguerite awakes she finds she has extraordinary powers of telepathy, telekinesis and technology. She is able to contact the Guardian Moonbase directly.
The CIA want her to continue receiving information but she informs them that a Comet, targeted by the Guardians, is due to strike the base in a few days. They evacuate the base and leave her for dead, though she has managed to evade the bullet.
This is just the start of an exciting tale in which Marguerite works independently to deal with the menace of the Kurendara.

Synopsis of "STAR PORTAL AT CASA ROSA"

John Ashton is sent by his publishing firm to interview an author, a former colleague, who lives in an isolated mountain retreat at the Casa Rosa in southern Spain. This colleague has sought anonymity under the pseudonym of El Portador because his book lays bare the secret of a conspiracy to overthrow the civilizations of the world. A previous member of Ashton's firm who attempted to review the book committed suicide in strange circumstances.
El Portador was in his time a leading scientist but his book contains many strange ideas verging on the occult and stories of alien abduction. Ashton is eager to test whether these are not wild imaginings and so makes use of a sophisticated, computer aided, truth machine. This reveals the truth of the material.
Ashton's other reason for visiting Spain was to do a bit of caving, being an enthusiast at this pursuit. He had made friends with a Spanish fruit grower who needed a water supply for his orange groves and was now able to release the capping on an underground stream. Having inhaled foul air in the cave he later fell into a dream state at his hotel in which he underwent a mystical initiation by Kronos.
As he studied more of El Portador's book he realized two men in black were following him. He had been warned that this might happen and they might try to infect him with a plague. While talking with the author in the mountains his dog warns them of the approach of strangers. El Portador tells him to leave and save himself. As he does so he hears gunshots.
Ashton is later told that El Portador has shot the two men in black, but being androids they will soon self-repair. He decides to leave the Earth and is taken aboard a spacecraft. Ashton is left with the dog, that turns out to be an alien female, a shape-changer called Sophie who assumes the role of his lover, guardian and mentor.
El Portador has told of the Gameplayer, an alien being who is masterminding the attack on earth that will be accomplished by spreading plague nanobots that force a person to commit suicide. Sophie arranges for Ashton to have a special crystal memory device that can absorb harmful intentions. It will be triggered by the Gameplayer's personality.
Sophie then takes Ashton back to the cave and instructs him how to engage in distant viewing of the Gameplayer's hideout. Together they plan their persuit of the Gameplayer..................
