The Author

Keith Wakelam, born in 1920, is a retired Electronics Engineer, Theosophist, lecturer and writer who has a practical aaproach to philosophy and psychology. After a long career in the Army and Ministry of defense, he graduated with Honours from the Open University at 59 and took early retirement to work at Surrey University until final retirement at the age of 67.

It was in his last appointment as Training Officer at the former Royal Aircraft Establishment, Farnborough that bhe came face to face with the problem of how to train young Engineers to be creative. One cannot do it by exhortation.

When he chanced to meet Gregory Mitchell he was introduced to a practical scheme for Mind Development which answered this problem. But few were ready for this 'nuts and bolts' approach, developing both sides of the brain by novel techniques seemed to be the stuff of science fiction.

Now in his late eighties, Keith feels this is his last chance to put on record his personal views and experiences working with the remarkable techniques used on Mind Development courses in London during the 1980's.
