This attunement
attunes the Mental Emotional Symbol. This symbol might be applied to
the top of the head to direct towards Emotional Problems. It might also
be used for physical problems. It is always empowered by the Power
Symbol. You
may wish to imagine the Power Symbol at the four walls of the room and
at the ceiling and on the floor. In so doing this, chant aloud or in
your mind "Cho Ku Rei". This clears the room of distracting influences.
Sitting quietly, imagine the power symbol above you. And
chant three times (or more if you wish) "Cho Ku Rei". The Power Symbol
is always essential to empower the Mental Emotional Symbol.
Imagine the Mental Emotional Symbol above you, and say aloud or in your mind:
I willingly accept attunement Of the Reiki Mental Emotional Symbol From the Source of Universal Love For the benefit of all.
Imagining the Power Symbol, chant "Chu Ko Rei" three times, or more if you wish. Imagining the Mental Emotional Symbol, chant "Sei He Ku" three or more if you wish. Say, "Thank you." The mental emotional symbol is always empowered by the power symbol. You may wish to do the following, but it isn't necessary.
Moving
your hands or in your imagination apply the symbol to various parts of
your body in need of Reiki. You might imagine and draw the Power Symbol
in your hands and while chanting "Cho Ko Rei". Imagine the Mental
Emotional Symbol on your hands and chant "Sei He Ku". Place your hands
on a part of your body, or imagine a hand so marked with Cho Ko Rei and
Sei He Ki, applying Reiki to various parts of your body. You might
actually touch parts of your body or hold your hands a short distance
away from the body in order to apply Reiki. As you do this, chant
alternately, "Cho Ku Rei" three times and then chant "Sei He Ku" three
times.
Do this in a state of mindfulness, that is, being aware
but having an empty mind. Do this without intention or expectation and
without imagining such things as energy movements, etc. Should such
experiences occur, however, then permit them.
In doing the
attunement you may sense certain experiences or not experience any. In
either case, the Source of Universal Love knows you require Reiki and
that you willingly accept it.
