Paul Whittington: 'Hero'
Paul Whittington's moving short (published by the brilliant independent film service Jaman) tells the story of a young soldier who returns from the Falkland's War emotionally scarred by what he has seen. That the tale is told through the eyes of his adoring younger brother makes it all the more heartbreaking. Says a Jaman community reviewer: "My heart aches for all the Marks and their moms and little brothers that we're making in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere. Should be seen by anyone who thinks war is glamorous or that all soldiers who come home alive come home whole."

The Pharmacratic Inquisition DVD - Official Online Edition - 111 min
The Pharmacratic Inquisition is based on the book 'Astrotheology & Shamanism' by Jan Irvin & Andrew Rutajit. The painstakingly detailed research in the book comes to life in this video. Thousands of years ago, sacred plants and other entheogenic substances were highly respected for their ability to bring forth the divine, Yahweh, God, The Great Spirit, etc., by the many cultures who used them. Often the entire tribe or community would partake in the entheogenic rites and rituals. These rites were often used in initiation into adulthood, for healing, to help guide the community in the decision-making process, and to bring the direct religious experience to anyone seeking it. In the pre-literate world, the knowledge of such sacraments, as well as fertility rites and astronomical knowledge surrounding the stars and zodiac (known as astrotheology), were anthropomorphized into a character or a deity; consequently, their stories and practices could easily be passed down for generations. For more information and to buy the DVD see Pharmacratic-Inquisition.com.
