If simple physical fitness activities can prevent a number of age-related brain diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, why wait to start? You don't have to join an expensive health club, but just add 30 minutes of jogging, dancing, or fast walking to each day. Take the stairs instead of the elevator when you can, or walk to the corner store instead of driving.
