Is it possible, after splitting up from so many years in a relationship, to live without intimacy and love, without loneliness?

I assume you mean is it possible to live a fulfilled life without a romantic partner. If so then absolutely - yes - certainly! Remember we are loved first and foremost from within.

In our search for love we often start by seeking it externally - in the love offered to us by other people. However this is a misconception. Then once we learn - usually through bitter disappointment - that searching for love here is misplaced, we come to that point where at last, we turn to that one place where we can be filled with a never ending supply of love - our own heart. Once we seek love there, then we never need experience a paucity of love or feel lonely - for we are One and only One. Two does not exist.
