InnerTrac™ ~ Emotional Response Indicator

The InnerTrac™ Emotional Response Indicator

The revolutionary InnerTrac™ is a small, hand held device that measures subtle changes in the electrical resistance of the body that occur in the presence of stress and emotional arousal, including changes that are below the awareness of the client, i.e. subconscious stimulations. Therefore it is a form of Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) monitor. It is carefully designed to serve as a valuable guide in a remarkable number of healing modalities - from EFT, TFT and EMDR to traumatic incident reduction (TIR) and solo clearing. It allows one to detect and pinpoint the presence of emotional "charge," and verify the progress of its resolution - a tremendous advantage for the practitioner.

The InnerTrac™ will detect the presence of, and measure the progressive release of, suppressed negative emotions. This makes it invaluable for guiding the practitioner through the successive steps of any effective psychotherapy, mind-development, body-mind treatments, methods of personal development and application of positive, transpersonal and transformational psychologies. Furthermore, with skill the Emotional Response Indicator can be used to assess a number of likely or possible issues, and ascertain the one with the most "charge" at the moment that is most accessible to be effectively handled.

Introduction by Hank Levin:

The Emotional Response Indicator is specially designed to assist in psycho-therapeutic and personal development procedures. InnerTrac™ uses six colored LEDs (rather than the voltmeter needle on conventional biomonitors) to indicate changes in the emotional energy of the client. There are many situations in which it is extremely helpful to be able to detect the presence of emotionally charged, suppressed mental content just below or at the borders of subconsciousness. This is a tremendous aid in assessing which of many specific topics is most relevant to be treated and at the same time, such material is also accessible and readily viewable by the subject. It will also show when the client is upset; and it will indicate when the client is "released" from the issue being handled. This can save many hours of wasted searching and discussion and when you have used an Emotional Response Indicator for a short time you will wonder how it is possible to be effective in developmental therapies without one!

Demonstration of the InnerTrac:

The designer, Hank Levin, has much experience in training students to use various forms of GSR biomonitors, including the Clarity meters. He observed that for many people the most difficult part of training was often learning to interpret the needle reads of a conventional biomonitor, especially while the student practitioner's focus was primarily on the client. In fact, he found when showing the conventional biomonitors to established therapists, even when they seemed impressed with an initial demonstration, the prospect of learning to interpret needle reads - and apply those interpretations to their own sessions - was absolutely daunting. However, the InnerTrac's colored LEDs do not seem to have that effect, the reads are much easier to interpret and the training cycle is relatively short. Hank expects that the InnerTrac's ability to help detect the presence of negative emotional energy, locate specific issues, signal their resolution - and even signal when the client has become upset - will lead to its acceptance and use in conventional therapies.

Energy Psychology
The InnerTrac™ was specifically designed for practitioners of energy psychology, a category of new therapies popularly known as "tapping therapy." Based on the work of Dr. Roger Callahan, they include Thought Field Therapy (TFT) and its offshoots, EFT, BSFF, rapid eye movement (EMDR), and a number of other acronyms. Their appeal - and skyrocketing popularity - is based on the premise that it is possible to treat a great number of physical, mental and emotional conditions directly through the body, energetically, without needing to go into and deal with the specific details or content of the mind.

A relatively simple version of tapping therapy taught by Dr. Gary Craig is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). It has been demonstrated on Oprah Winfrey's TV show, and endorsed by several celebrities, including actress and comedienne Whoopi Goldberg. It is even more popular in the UK and Europe, with many workshops and trainings available. You can see a very good demonstration by Dr. Gary Craig here at YouTube. Trans4mind's life coach, Orsolya Riszt, herself specializes in a recent development of EFT called FasterEFT.

Methods vary enormously in degrees of complexity, but much of the appeal lies in the ease and accessibility of these techniques with relatively little training. Tapping therapies have been enthusiastically embraced by professional by allowing them to bypass the need for "talk therapy," considered by many to be far too tedious and time-consuming for the benefits gained (especially without the use of biofeedback to focus and guide the practitioner). The use of the InnerTrac will give energy psychology practitioners and clients a certain means of objectively assessing the relative negative energy of the client's various personal issues, help to assess various things to run, as well as to verify the effectiveness of the procedures from moment to moment, and also show whether a procedure has been run to completion.
