The Heartbeat of Intelligence

As I sat quietly listening to the music with my eyes closed, I became aware at some point that the music was no longer entering through my ears and my head, but was going directly into my heart. It felt as though my heart were filling with the msuic and I found myself entering into a sweetly ecstatic state.

This book is the result of a personal, highly transforming experience which opened my consciousness to knowledge of Nature's evolutionary intention for humankind. Following this experience, a broad spectrum of research and writings of New Consciousness thinkers began synchronistically to fall into my hands, providing me every step of the way with documentation which shows that the brain is not our only source of intelligence, that we have a second kind of intelligence which Nature intended to act in biological Dynamic with our brain intelligence: intelligence of the heart.

In order for a sentient being to achieve a high level of intelligence and to continue growing and expanding in that intelligence, Nature has to move that being out of the realm of instinct into the realm of choice. This is actually a big gamble on the part of Nature.

But Nature seems to have covered herself by providing for the evolution in human beings of a second level of intelligence which would temper and balance the choices made by the brain. That level is heart intelligence, "designed" by Nature to give the intelligence of our brain a holistic view of its world as well as a humane, compassionate ground on which to base its world-views and decision making; its choices.

The human brain and heart were designed by Nature to evolve together to a level that would allow them access to a Higher Consciousness; a universal, non-local, hyperdimensional, if you will, level of Intelligence/Consciousness. The brain accesses that Higher Consciousness cognitively through the frontal lobes, the heart accesses It emotionally through a mysterious biological process as valid as that of the brain.

However, as we evolved out of instinct and into choice we gradually interrupted the evolution of our heart intelligence by believing that our mind choices have more weight than our heart choices. As a consequence, our heart intelligence has not evolved in concert with brain intelligence as Nature intended. Most of the problems we face today are the result of this failure.

I was shown that the answers and solutions to our dilemma are available right now in an array of seemingly disparate New Consciousness thinking and research which was synchronistically brought to my attention, such as Joseph Chilton Pearce's research into the heart/brain connection; the theory of Neoteny (the rentention into adulthood of juvenile characteristics as an evolutionary advantage); Synchronicity as an acausal law; the theory of the Universe as a hologram including David Bohm's theory of explicate and implicate orders of energy; Rupert Sheldrake's theory of morphogenesis; and an exploration of Nature Spirits.

I was shown how these seemingly disparate subjects weave together to form a colorful tapestry which provides answers for us and creates a beautiful picture of hope and joy for an astonishing future that will include living much longer lives (perhaps 300-400 years) in youthful bodies which will allow us to make maximum use of our unique, beautiful human brain.
