Yes, energy can flow through words, prayers, and "spells". That is why use of the spoken word is so critical. The western Bible even begins that way: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God." God created all things, this says, through his word. In other words, our word is our creative power, our "God force", made manifest. It is our spirit put into outer, verbal form. How we use our words can either send out positive or negative energy.
Remember though - whatever you put out returns to you. If you choose to use words or "spells" to try to influence or manipulate another, you are using energy in an extremely inappropriate way. In the end, that will only backfire on you. Only God knows what is best for another - their Spirit/Higher Self knows, and only it has the right to choose how they move energy in their life. So, if you want positive energy in your life, it is very, very important to put that out to others and to all things.
Read the little book, The Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz. It speaks very profoundly about the power of how to use our words and energy to be the best human beings we can be, and to create a life that is free of harm, to ourselves and to others.
