The symphony of life consists of lines of melody (ideas, expressions, beliefs, creations) flowing in counterpoint. The harmonies may be simple or complex and sometimes challenging, and the combination may be perceived as beautiful or ugly or anywhere in between, and seem differently so to different observers.
Life is multi-layered. Like our beings, we have spiritual, emotional and physical currents of expression, that interweave. This can be seen as one direction acting counter or against another, like an argument. Or it can be perceived holistically - without judgment of good/bad, right/wrong, beautiful/ugly, yours/mine, us/them - with the combination enhancing and playing off each other, like an interesting and exhilarating work of art.
