This has to do with something I’m very passionate about: easy-to-understand and powerful education. And that’s exactly how I’ve benefited from the brand new Super Nutrition Academy. The Academy teaches you the fundamentals of nutrition and health so that you can finally become master of your own body. It makes the complex relationship between food and your body simple and fun to understand.

And the best part is that each training video/lesson takes up no more than an hour of your time and is very easy to understand, even if you don’t have a background in science, nutrition or health. You’ll soon become an expert.

Super Nutrition Academy is completely different from anything you’ve ever seen with respect to diet and health. This is because the results are tangible, long-lasting, and mastering your diet and health is actually EASIER to do than you may have been led to believe. I can attest to that. In fact, there’s nothing like this approach. I promise you will be hearing about this for years to come, but now it is in the realm of the “early adopters.”

The brand new Super Nutrition Academy officially opens TODAY!

What if you could eat healthier, overcome debilitating food addictions, and never have to suffer through another weight-loss diet ever again? What if you could finally master your diet and health and not have to rely on your doctor, biased websites, or shady experts for proper nutrition advice? The truth is, you CAN finally eliminate dieting and be guaranteed to keep your results for life.

Learn From The Best
Yuri Elkaim, founder of the Academy, is a world-renowned holistic nutrition and fitness trainer who is endorsed by the University of Toronto. With this Academy, Yuri has put together a 12-month “health mastery” program covering all aspects of your diet and health.

Yuri says that diets are like water wings… “They work while they’re on your arms, but unless you know how to swim, you’ll sink faster than the Titanic once you’re not using them.” The same applies with how you approach your health. If you don’t understand the complex working of your body and food and continue to rely on quick-fix diets, then you’ll find it very very tough to reach your health goals. But thankfully, you don’t have to do that anymore…

Super Nutrition Academy is the only nutrition program that makes it simple to understand and master your diet and health in just 1 hour per week. Get started today and begin learning everything you ever wanted to know about your health and nutrition including:

The 2 “brother” molecules that purify your blood and boost your energy… and the 2 simple ways of getting more of them.

“Crack the carbohydrate code” and be shocked at how many carbs, proteins and fats are consumed by the longest living humans.

Unmask the massive metabolic difference between glucose and fructose and what that means to fruit consumption and your waistline.

Everything you ever wanted to know about protein – finally revealed! From how much you need, to digestibility and absorption, to the best protein foods you didn’t even know existed.

…and so much more!

Super Nutrition Academy is also giving everyone who gets started today a massive bonus worth $697. That’s TODAY only. Get all the details here:

40% OFF Super Nutrition Academy

This is your chance to live life on your terms. You’ll be amazed at how simple and easy-to-understand Yuri has made the complex relationship between food and your body. Say goodbye to ridiculous diets, boring books, and biased experts. Plus, he guides you step-by-step in creating 12 vital health habits that will change your life forever. There is nothing like this anywhere!

Wouldn’t it be great to have more clarity and simple, straight-forward health and nutrition answers from a “wise man” who’s blazed a trail for you… instead of continually struggling to figure things out on your own? Now’s your chance…

You can keep doing what you (and most other people) have probably been doing since the dawn of the information age…

Spend hours bouncing from one website to the next only to hear conflicting points of view and leaving with no solution or real understanding of the problem…

Continue reading magazines that are heavily biased thanks to their sponsors and parent companies that ‘own’ them…

Watch YouTube videos from anyone who can speak english, operate a camera, and wants to voice their two cents about a particular health or nutrition topic…

If you’ve gone down these paths, you know they don’t lead you to the promised land. Instead, they lead you down the rabbit hole to more confusion. If you want concrete answers based on science and over 13 years of real-life experience from one of the top health and nutrition leaders in our field, then you’ll want to check this out…

You’d have to be living under a rock to not know that one of God’s most celestial voices was silenced this week. And boy has there been hoopla over Whitney Houston’s passing. Each time a celebrity dies of celebrity causes, we every-day types shake our heads in stunned disbelief. How can someone who ‘had it all’ take their own life, drug themselves stupid, destroy hotel rooms, make childishly arrogant demands on others?

What happens when all that talent meets all that power? Why does their Godly blessing become a personal curse?

In my life I’ve had a minuscule taste of adulation. Nothing that made the nightly news, but enough that I felt the intoxification of self-importance. Must admit, it tasted sweet. I can see how it could become addictive.

But, all the while, I also felt like a pretender. Like the praise was undeserved and if they really knew me they’d pack up their smiles and applause and find more worthy prey. The disconnect between the external admiration and the internal inability to accept any of it as real was painful.

Of course, not all celebs walk the well-trod path of self-destruction. And if you ask, they’ll tell you, it’s not real – and they know it. The talent may be real and appreciated, but it’s not who they are, it’s what they do. They’ve been able to make that clear distinction and find solid ground to stand on that is not lined with red carpet.

Down here, in less pretentious air (there’s that pretend word again!), we might find a lesson. You are not your talents or failures. You are not your looks or finances. What you do and what you have are the results of choices that you’ve made in life.

Who you are has never been up to you. Sure, how you demonstrate who you believe you are is up to you – and that’s another form of doing. Behavior is not who you are.

Who you are is perfection and love. It always has been and always will be. Deeper than you will ever be able to affect (thank God) is the truth. You are God’s blessing to the world. His hope for bringing what you do into alignment with who you truly are.

To take joy in knowing that your worth is not determined by others lets you feel joy in living. To seek joy that depends upon others’ approval will only bring you pain.

Each day offers you a choice. Be love’s channel into the world, or pretend you are unworthy. The only thing you are unworthy of is the lie of unworthiness. Remember who you are and all that you do will be a blessing, not a curse.

Valentine‘s Day used to be for sending an unsigned note to a person you fancied, and then you’d wonder and try to find out who sent it. I remember at school it was a painful day as no-one ever sent me a Valentine‘s card; it didn’t occur to me that neither did I send one, I was too shy. Nowadays it’s another way to make consumers feel obliged to spend yet more money. Still, it’s also a good reminder not to take our loved ones for granted. Here are a few Valentine tips, that will count more than any present…

Would You Rather Be Right, or Loved?

She leaves the toothpaste tube open and he leaves the toilet seat up? Don’t bicker over small things: accept your partner’s little habits and idiosyncrasies as part of who he/she is.

Remember to say, “Thanks.” Just because you are familiar, you should not take the other person’s acts of thoughtfulness for granted. Let them know you appreciate it.

Remember to give regular boosts to your partner’s self-esteem. Tell them how good they look, how well they dress, and how wonderful you feel when you are together.

Stop asking “Why me?” or saying, “Now it’s your turn so you do it.” Do you always want to be right, or do you want to be loved?

Don’t be a doormat or a martyr or the boss. A marriage or romantic relationship is different from others because it is a partnership – it works great if you meet each other half-way.

When you insist on being right, what you indirectly communicate to your partner is that he or she is wrong. The good news is, if you’re willing to let go of being right, you can easily experience plenty of love, harmony and fulfillment in your relationship.

Maurice Turmel writes in his How to Cope with Grief and Loss blog about the Magdalene Laundries scandal in Ireland, where girls who became unmarried mothers or otherwise sinned and became ‘fallen’ women, were sent in disgrace to become slave labor and to be taught a Christian lesson by the cruel nuns. Still without any justice for their abuse experiences, these women, and there are still many living victims today, were horrifically treated and had their “hearts” pummeled by this daily dose of shame and abuse at the hands of a sick and demented “religious staff”. These victims need to grieve their losses, as do all victims of religious abuse. It’s a loss for all of us as the behavior of representatives of the Catholic Church have totally betrayed the ethos and the hope that Jesus represented.

The Laundries were portrayed vividly in the 2002 film The Magdalene Sisters. The director Peter Mullan has remarked that the film was initially made because victims of the prisons had received no closure in the form of recognition, compensation or apology. Former Magdalene inmate Mary-Jo McDonagh told Mullan that the reality of the asylums was much worse than depicted in the film.

Their suffering is portrayed with fierce pathos here by the wonderful Irish singer Frances Black…

Mary Raftery writes in the Guardian today that this scandal has still not been put to right. Land has been dug up containing a mass grave, full of ‘penitents,’ the label attached to the thousands of women locked up in Ireland’s Magdalene laundries. As soon as possible I hope justice is done and we can move on.

Now’s the time to turn this around and to no longer tolerate religious bigotry nor cruelty of any kind to exist in our communities, as we move gradually toward a world in which humanity has at last, overall, a higher consciousness.

By Yuri Ulkaim, author of Eating for Energy

The fact is that most North Americans equate the “long weekend” with cottages and barbecues laden with meats of all kinds and a good amount of drinking. It’s no wonder most people don’t feel that great when they get back to work on Tuesday.

What does meat consumption have to do with “not feeling well”? Well, high meat consumption creates more acidity in your body… And when your body (really your blood) becomes more acidic than what is optimal, things start breaking down and not working as well as they should.

I’m a big proponent of an alkaline diet, which essentially boils down to eating more fruits and veggies, and so too are hundreds (if not, thousands) of studies which show that eating more plant foods is the KEY to greater health.

But still, there are many cavemen (sorry, I mean dietitians and doctors) that still don’t get it. Just yesterday, I was doing some research on this topic of the alkaline diet when I came across an article on the website of “Brigham and Women’s Hospital” (which is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School). I thought, “Ok, cool. Maybe they’ll have some new info or research on this topic that I don’t know about yet.”

I was pumped. But then I was outright livid! The DIETITIAN writing the article on alkaline diet and cancer concluded with the following question and answer:

“Do dietitians and other health professionals recommend alkaline diets? No. Studies of alkaline diet are limited to animal and test tube trials. While research is currently in progress regarding the correlation between alkaline diets and bone health, there are unfortunately no major human studies in regards to alkaline diets and cancer at this time.”

Come on lady! Are you on drugs? What planet have you been living on? If she or other health professionals (apparently I would be included under that umbrella) don’t recommend an alkaline diet, what would they recommend instead? An acidic diet?

It’s no wonder the meals at any hospital in our country are outright nasty. White bread, chocolate milk, pudding, etc…

As you can tell, this kind of nonsense really gets me going because these “health promoters” are essentially telling patients that eating fruits and vegetables doesn’t really matter and that they WON’T improve your health or lessen your risks of cancer, bone loss, or other problems by doing so.

Thankfully, there are many studies that do show the importance of keeping your body alkaline, especially when it comes to bone loss and osteoporosis.

Backing the Alkaline Diet
Did you know that in 1999, 1,167 scientific articles on bone health and osteoporosis were added to the index Medicus database, representing about half of the peer-reviewed studies published on the subject that year? And that number continues to grow as osteoporosis continues to cost our society in big ways.

The worst part is that all of these osteoporosis and bone loss issues are avoidable, witnessed by the fact that osteoporosis is uncommon in many cultures outside of the western world. For example, no sign of bone loss can be found among the Maya Indians, who eat an alkaline diet. Africans have been classified as “almost immune” to osteoporotic fracture. The Chinese were found to have only one-fifth the U.S. fracture rate, despite eating as much, or nearly as much protein (but predominantly from plant sources). Societies with the lowest osteoporosis rates follow the basic premise of eating a predominantly alkaline diet – that is plant-based foods.

Compare that with what’s happening in the US: only 15% of the total United States population meets the fruit (2-4 servings) and vegetable (3-5 servings) recommended intakes on a daily basis. And even those recommendations are outdated and still too low. And french fries do not count as a veggie!

Among children, only 7% consume two fruit servings and three vegetables per day, with french fries accounting for nearly 25% of vegetables, in diets of the children surveyed.

I think it’s pretty obvious that our dietary and lifestyle choices are the most important factors determining our health. That’s why I keep telling you that you must take 100% responsibility for your health. Anyone telling you otherwise is full of you know what!

Alkaline Raw Food Diet and Weight Loss
A raw food diet and weight loss go hand in hand. Alkaline foods are best eaten raw as they retain the vitamins and minerals that would otherwise be lost by cooking them.

The benefits of eating more raw foods are numerous and once you understand them you’ll probably wonder why you haven’t eaten more raw in the past. You’ll also think twice about eating dead cooked foods ever again.

Raw Foods Give You More Energy
I don’t think I know of a single person who eats at least 80% raw foods who doesn’t enjoy far more energy than the average person. I know that when I transitioned away from eating a diet made up of breads, dairy, and cooked foods, and adopted more of a raw foods diet, my energy went through the roof. And I’m not talking about the quick surge you would get from an espresso but rather long-lasting energy that enables you to do more with less.

Find out more about raw food diet and weight loss

For instance, eating raw will allow you to sleep less and have far more energy than you ever thought possible. When I’m eating at least 80% raw, I can easily function on just 4-5 hours of sleep. I literally bounce out of bed and don’t require any naps throughout the day. Oh yeah, did I mention that I workout every single day as well? Sometimes, even twice!

Energizing Enzymes
There are several reasons why a raw food diet will give you more energy. First, raw foods are rich in food enzymes. Enzymes are required for every single reaction in the body. Unfortunately, our bodies only have a finite number of these enzymes, so when we run out, we run out of life! To add to this, when you heat foods above 118 degrees fahrenheit, you destroy the food enzymes that are naturally present in all raw foods. Therefore, if you eat a predominantly cooked foods diet, you’re not getting enough food enzymes, which means that your body will have to produce and use more of its own to digest and metabolize your foods.

The more energy your body needs to divert towards digestion, the less energy you will have for other activities. You will feel more lethargic and tired as your body is trying to breakdown “dead” foods and figure out what to do with them.

So, the food enzymes inherent in raw foods are a big reason for boosting your body’s energy. They are the spark plugs and are intricately related to the next property that make raw foods so energy-boosting.

Life Force
When raw foods are left intact, they are also known as living foods. They are called “living” because they carry an incredible amount of life force. Now, since every living being has an aura or energy field illuminating from their body, which foods do you think would enhance yours? High energy raw foods or cooked foods that dead? I think we both know the answer. As I like to say, “eat alive and you will thrive”.

Raw Food Diet and Weight Loss and Beautiful Skin
The other highly sought-after quality of a raw foods diet is its ability to help you lose weight and beautify your skin. Almost all raw foodists have reported losing weight they could never lose. At the same time, they notice an instant improvement in their skin. They look younger and have a natural glow that comes about because of the “living” nature of raw foods, their abundance of enzymes, and of course the plethora of nutrients that are ingested when eating more fruits and vegetables.

You will find it easier to lose weight on a raw food diet because your getting more nutrients and, therefore, your body won’t crave “dead” foods. Second, the enzymes help to breakdown the foods you are eating and excess energy and fat stores in your body. Third, raw foods are water-rich, which helps you feel more satiated, as well as hydrated.

Many of these reasons also help us explain why living foods make you look younger and beautify your skin. Enzymes, life force, water, and high quality nutrients all play a role in natural skin care.

We could talk about the benefits of a raw food diet for hours but the only way to truly understand them is to experience them for yourself. So why not take action today and start to enjoy the health, the body, and the vitality that you deserve!

Can words and music really affect water? Dr. Masaru Emoto, a doctor of alternative medicine from Japan, has conducted many experiments on water crystals and have found that words and music have both positive and negative effects on water. Dr. Emoto‘s experiments have been published in several books, one of them the well known book The Hidden Messages in Water. His findings show that music has a big effect on water and therefore, on us as well, since we are largely made up of water.

Dr. Emoto put water into containers and wrote or typed different thoughts and feelings on labels and put them on the containers. Immediately afterwards, the water was frozen and the combination of a microscope and high-speed photography resulted in photos of water crystals. Beautiful water crystals were formed when Dr. Emoto used beautiful words, such as love and gratitude, while misshapen and distorted crystals were formed when slang or swear words were used. Polluted water formed ugly crystals, but after polluted water was prayed over, prettier water crystals resulted.

Such amazing findings show that words, both written and spoken, can actually have an effect on water. But what about music? Dr. Emoto also did these water crystal experiments with music. He put water between two speakers and turned on a specific piece of music for several hours. Then the water was frozen and photographed by Dr. Emoto.

Classical music such as those by Beethoven and Bach resulted into beautiful water crystals. Dr. Emoto also found that the Tibet Sutra and the Kawachi Folk Dance all produced pretty water crystals. However, rock music did not have the same results – instead, rings of cracks showed up when the water exposed to rock music was frozen.

These results by Dr. Emoto and other scientists since then have shown that some music has healing properties and others don’t. What’s even more amazing is that music actually has an effect on non-living, physical matter. Since 70% of our bodies are made up of water, we can apply the healing properties of classical music to our own bodies.

Every piece of music has different frequencies, and these frequencies can reach different parts of our body to assist our immune systems and minds to achieve healing and other positive effects. Dr. Emoto has said that he sees energy as vibrations moving through matter. These vibrations are called hado by Dr. Emoto. Hado translates as “wave motions” or “vibrations.”

For example, listening to “The Moldau” by Bedrich Smetana can reduce irritability and energize the lymphatic tissues of the body. Dr. Emoto attributes this to the hado in the music that can cancel out the hado of irritability. The music also resonates with the hado of lymphatic system. Other examples include listening to “The Blue Danube” by Johann Strauss II will revitalize your central nervous system, while listening to the opera “Lohengrin” by Richard Wagner will remove the hado of self-pity from your thoughts.

In all, Dr. Emoto and his research and findings on how music affects water has profound implications for us and the role music plays in our lives.

In the book, Gregor wakes up to discover he has turned into a giant insect. This change makes him literally and emotionally separate from his family members – indeed, from humanity in general – and he even refers to it as his “imprisonment.” After his transformation he stays almost exclusively in his room with his door closed and has almost no contact with other people. At most, his sister Grete spends a few minutes in the room with him, and during this time Gregor always hides under the couch and has no interaction with her. But as we learn over the course of the story, this feeling of estrangement actually preceded his transformation. Shortly after waking and discovering that he has become a bug, Gregor reflects on his life as a traveling salesman, noting how superficial and transitory his relationships have become as a result of his constant traveling. Later, Gregor recalls how his initial pride at being able to support his family faded once his parents began to expect that support, and how he felt emotionally distant from them as a result. In fact, the alienation caused by Gregor’s metamorphosis can be viewed as a reflection of the alienation he already felt as a person.

Save streaming video and music from YouTube directly onto your hard disc…

This is a YouTube downloader program to let you save streaming web videos or music onto your computer. This is one of the best tube downloaders out there if not the very best. This is simply because of its reliability and unmatched unique ability to adapt dynamically to changes on YouTube website without requiring an update. Most youtube downloaders work once in a while unpredictably and crash very often and one in ten don’t even work at all. Don’t worst your time on such software regardless on how long it has been in distribution with fame. Just use our software and you won’t regret it. After all it’s absolutely free with no registration needed.

Capture streaming media for later viewing on your desktop or mobile device. You may then convert files to MOV, MP4, 3GP, WMV, AVI, or MP3. Watch the videos or listen to the music you capture in your own convenient time. The downloading can be from 2 to 10 times faster than regular YouTube download software tools. This software program allows you to select the quality at which you want to download the videos. The selectable video quality levels include lower quality flash videos, mp4 wide screen quality to high definition quality.

Download the Software Here

Click to download; right-click to select download location

If you use a Mac, as I do, the best I’ve found to download YouTubes is with the browser plugin/extension FastestTube.

Part of the nature of humans is to be constantly developing, growing and moving toward a balanced and mature way of being. Our present personality is determined by both who and what we have been and by the person we strive to become. The goal of personal development is to learn and apply that which enables us to attain emotional wellbeing, understanding and effectiveness, and to share this knowledge with others.

Personal development works by…
enhancing and integrating rational, emotive and intuitive faculties – mind, body and spirit working in unison.

Personal development empowers us…
to live a happy and fulfilling life, through exercising free choice, seeing objective truth and realizing the highest degree of purpose.

Using the personal development resources at Trans4mind you can become your own life coach – or learn to help and coach others. What you learn carries over to your career and professional development, and working well in a team. As your responsibility expands, so does your leadership… fully aligned with your inner knowing, values and life purpose, and guided by the principle of loving service.

But why bother now?
Personal development is the conscious evolution of human nature, and yet throughout history it has been sorely lacking! Although it is in our nature to learn and grow, we are held back by our culture, which is predominantly focused on survival needs, each of us in competition with others, and our spiritual inner nature is repressed. The animal rules. We make no room for unconditional love.

Even though the culture may have evolved with technological advancement and administrative complexity, human nature has not moved forward as it might. We are now paying the price for human selfishness and inconsideration. Looking at the outlook in 2012, the quality of our lives on this planet – even our survival – now depends on each of us taking responsibility for our personal growth.

We truly need a more conscious Mankind and that begins at home, with each one of us.

The human being needs to awaken to the soul that inhabits each body and is our true self and source of inner knowing. Awaken through a process of self-discovery, leading to one’s own, self-directed spirituality. We need to become mindfully conscious instead of ruled by the dictates of instincts, past habits and fixed beliefs. We need to throw away dogma, open our minds and reconsider. Instead of fear about our survival and competitive angst, we will then be motivated by compassionate understanding and creative love.

It is said, whatever you are willing to put up with is exactly what you will have. Well enough of that, it is time to overturn the tables in the temple, to insist on reform wherever we find injustice, greed or waste. And first and foremost to reform our own way of living – to raise the flags of our dearest held values up high. For those that do move forward, the next epoch – that is almost upon us as we move into 2012 – will be a celebration of human cooperation and shared love. It’s our best hope for the future – and it’s in our hands. We have the tools.

Trans4mind has what we feel are the best selections of inspirational quotes and personal development videos, and we’ve recently made these collections even better.

Every newsletter or ezine over the past 13 years has included some quotes that I found particularly insightful, and they’ve been collected online at Words of Wisdom and in its accompanying ebook. Over Christmas I’ve been working on updating the site and ebook and so I’m happy to offer you the latest PDF version to download right here and now…

Download ‘Words of Wisdom’

ALSO, if you like inspiring quotes, please follow me on Twitter and receive several new quotes per day on your mobile, plus article links and news. Also you may like to connect ‘face to face’ at my personal Facebook as well.

In addition, over Christmas I added a lot of YouTube videos that I had bookmarked over many months to The Best Personal Development Videos. Each has something unique to offer. I know you can find these for yourself, but it’s nice to go to a place where lots of good ones are already collected. The categories are…
