First I would like to make it clear that these are my personal beliefs based on my own experience. I do not know all the answers and some of what I write may be only my perception of how it is, not necessarily how it REALLY is. I don't want to come across as a 'preacher' or somebody who is 'right' - just somebody who has his own personal experiences to share. These 'instructions' were originally written for the benefit of a person close to me - but I hope they might also help other readers... Sometimes you are a party animal, a drinker, or a 'not really bothered about much else' person, so perhaps you will try to dismiss the importance of today's experience. You will try to convince yourself that your brain was somehow playing tricks on you and that you were just 'imagining' the whole experience.... however a seed has been planted within you now that wasn't there before... a single question that no matter how hard you try to justify with 'logical' thinking, you will never be able to. That question is: "What about if it REALLY did happen?" For myself, the first time it happened I had a choice. Dismiss it as a 'dream' or try to uncover the truth. I chose the 2nd option and my life has never been the same since. This is my question to you... if it DID happen then that means we have a separate 'soul body' and that means that we probably survive death and live forever... which means we are on Earth for a REASON.... which gives you the choice: do you go back to your old "don't care" life?... or do you try to find that reason? If you choose the 1st option then stop reading now... but if you want to see just "how far this rabbit hole goes" then read on...
For the next bit you must let go of doubt. Assume that it IS real. Gradually, after you learn from your own experiences, you will not need to assume. You will know.
What is your astral body?
REMEMBER THIS MOST IMPORTANT FACT:
Your first experiments
Then try these experiments....
Try this:
Your first whole body separation What you need to do is get all 'chakras' (these are the main centers in the body which connect your astral body to your physical body) vibrating as fast as possible. Think of the most positive thoughts you can possibly imagine. (I normally think of how much I love being alive or how lucky I am to have had happy experiences in my life). And imagine it as a white light that fills up your body. You know the way you can move that 'feeling' from one bit of your body to another, well do that in all the places where it isn't pulsing very quick. Keep breathing in this white positive light. Let go of doubt, completely put your trust into your spirit guides and ask them mentally for energy. Feel their love for you filling you up until you are a pure being of light and goodness. Think of how much mum and dad love us and use that to fill you too. Eventually all parts of your body will vibrate quicker and quicker until the vibrations make a constant stream. You will hear this as a really loud wine or buzzing sound. If you continue to build the energies up you may be propelled out of your body and that will be it! Well done, you will find your self floating about in your room or some other location. If you don't automatically 'pop' out then try imagining the ceiling is a magnet and let it lift you out of your body, or simply roll out. Whatever works for you. Don't think about it or doubt it. JUST DO IT! The more energy you have the longer your experience will last , the more conscious you will be and the higher levels will be available to you. It is worth building up your energies for at least a few minutes; it is possible to get out of your body without building them up but you will probably have problems, i.e. won't be able to see or hear or you may not be able to move about properly and it will soon turn into a 'dream'.
The fear barrier There are different fear barriers that I have had to overcome. I will describe them so you can get through them easier.... THE ALARM! - When you start to come out of your body you might suddenly hear an alarm bell going off right next to your head. It will be very loud and will wake you up. Unless of course you know that it is a 'test'. Notice it, but ignore it - it will go. It's purpose is to trick you into waking up. THE MAN IN THE ROOM - As you are leaving your body, all of a sudden you will hear people in your room and somebody will shout REALLY loud something like "STOPPP IT!!!!" or "NO!!!!!!!!!!" or "YOU'LL NEVER GET BACK IF YOU COME OUT!!!!!!!!" or other discouraging things. If you ignore that the first time it happens then you must be good! You will probably wake yourself up and then think "Damn, I fell for it!" It takes a while to ignore it as it really does scare you. Remember it is just a fear barrier. I had to learn the hard way, nobody explained this to me. It required me to chance my life on it. The man shouted "YOU WILL DIE!" and I just thought, sorry Emma but I'm going to chance it. I ignored him and I realized I had just passed a valuable test. Remember you can NEVER die and never get lost from your body. THE HORROR MOVIE - This is like the man in the room but more 'shocking' - it will wake you up with your heart pounding! I have only experienced it twice, once it tricked me but the other time I was wise to it (I had a higher energy build up which helped). You will be getting out of your body and then there will be a blood curdling noise - I heard a woman screaming. It was really bad. I thought it was outside my bedroom so I woke myself up, then I realized it was another test and laughed to my spirit guides: "Fell for it!" Occasionally you will feel people actually touching you or mum will knock on your door, or you will hear somebody put a cup of tea down next to you. These are all just tricks! These are the ones I have experienced but I am sure that your mind will create different ones now that you have read about mine. Be prepared, NEVER FEAR! You are as weak or as strong as the limits in your mind. Once you understand that you will be able to protect yourself from anything.
Where am I? You will probably first find yourself in a place that resembles your bedroom or wherever you were when you went to sleep. This is because that it what you expect to see. Remember, your mind creates your environment here. If you are conscious enough to realize this (without thinking too hard) then you can literally do and experience whatever you like. Playing football in front of a packed stadium? Throwing snowballs on winter hills with the sun setting? Having sex with a beautiful woman on the beach? Here you can create worlds, visit places, visit people, go into the past or the future, speak with masters and guides - do whatever your mind can think of. Here you will start to remember the God within you. Whatever you do, remember you only have about 5 minutes. As soon as you notice that you are no longer in control then wake yourself up or it will turn into a dream. A dream is basically your sub-conscious creating rather than your conscious creating, so your deepest thoughts, feelings etc are played out in a movie-like fashion. This is why peoples' dreams relate to things happening in their lives - i.e., if you are worried about starting a new job then when you sleep at night your astral body will go to the astral dimension and your surroundings will mould themselves to whatever you are thinking about, and because you will not be conscious enough to think about anything then it will mould itself on to what you are thinking at a deeper sub-conscious level. So you might have a dream where all the people in your new job are really nasty to you because you are worried, or maybe your guides will create the dream for you to reasure you or let you experience possible futures... Anyway. Eventually you will be on these astral planes experiencing whatever you possibly want to experience (like the ultimate virtual reality game!) and you will get to a point where you get bored and realize that you could actually be helping people rather than just enjoying yourself. This will be more fulfilling for you and more of a challenge. When you are ready to help people then let me know and I will guide you through it. Or, whilst on the astral level, ask out loud to your spirit guides for help. Say: "I am ready to help people now." When you start it will come naturally to you.
IMPORTANT: But in the meantime just experiment on the astral levels. If you are floating in your bed room and you want to be swimming in a tropical sea instead, then use this technique: Fly through a wall or window, KNOWING that when you get through it you will find yourself in this tropical place. Picture it as clearly in your mind as you can. When you get through the wall you will be there!! If you can't get through the wall then that is because you think you can't. Your mind is limiting you. Let go of doubt. If you can't fly then that is because you believe you can't. YOU CAN! Let go of the doubt. If you are ever needing help just ask your guides. Say: "Please can you help me get through this wall." They are always listening and will give you a needed boost of energy. You should try speaking to them in physical Earth as well.
That should keep you going for the time being. I look forward to the stage when we can meet each other out of body and communicate about it the next day. Who knows, maybe we will merge into one being again and a whole new level of understanding will open up for us. Keep practicing. Don't doubt it, please don't ignore it. Have fun! Any questions, just ask. Perhaps before you thought I made it all up but hopefully now you can see just how involved with it I am. I really am a soul rescuer and I KNOW it, even though I can't prove it. You will KNOW soon as long as you don't give up.
The Physical and Spiritual are OneI gave the following answer to help him form a platform from which to answer his own question. I was trying to help him see that there is no real, clear split between the physical and spiritual - we ARE always spirit, but we forget and believe we are something separate... I believe we experience the physical state when consciousness is limited, or constrained. Feeling that the illusion is real. Like a very "real-feeling" dream. If you are in a dream that feels real, then you could call the "real" life the "spiritual" side. The term "spritual" is just a label, and although it appears as a clear cut division, there really is no division - only a different state of your mind. So... you are in this real-seeming dream, and for some reason you start noticing glitches in the dream that are making you think, "Could this be a dream?" Little bits here and there, little problems, stories, myths about ghosts, mediums, etc. All these "abnormalities" and "bleed throughs" of the "real" world have an affect on you deep deep down - to your CORE. They stir something in your deepest mind. You start to desire to sleep no more. You want to know what you really are. However, the character you are playing in this dream - your false self - is quite content to continue dreaming. So it creates new parts of the dream to help maintain the integrity of this illusion. For every step closer you get to waking up, the dream throws a counter-measure, a new distraction. The question is, which part do you want to be? Are you happy to dream, or do you want to wake up and experience the next stage? Neither option is right or wrong, good or bad, as you can only do what is right for your stage of development. You are where you are meant to be. But what you WANT to be is what shapes the reality of the dream. If ghosts appeared saying "We are ghosts!" on the ten o'clock news, do you think people would suddenly wake up? No, they would just incorporate it into their dream, and it would make it even harder for them to wake themselves up. You know when strange things happen in your dreams, how many times do you think "Wow, that was strange - I must be in a dream?" - probably never. We are just happy to rationalize everything that happens. So are you really waking, did I make that vital connection to your "true spark"? or are you just still dreaming? Only you can know for sure. Religious fanatics are very often the ones dreaming that they are awake. They dream of a "God," yet they are further asleep and further away from "God" than they could possibly imagine. They are well and truly engrossed by the illusion: they are BOUND to the illusion (this is where Karma comes in). Balanced Karma means your chains are off. But it still doesn't mean you are free, it means you are free to go if you choose, or just create more Karma to rebalance another day. It's your choice. Sooner or later you will get fed up with the chains and maybe - say in 1000 lifetimes - you will decide you have had enough. Maybe THIS is that time? Out of 100 things we hear, watch or read - say ghost stories, mediums, pyramids, etc. - about 3% will actually make it through to our higher selves. All we can do is keep searching, keep asking. Gradually a snowball effect will take place and you will see more and more "truth" in everything. Coincidences are one great tool that will strike home a great deal more often. The coincidences happen when your higher/real self adds it's influence to your dream. The question is, how conscious are you? How far can you go? Will you make it all the way? Is there a limit? Just because it's a "dream" doesn't mean it's not real. And just because it's real doesn't mean it's not a dream... People can and do rationalize in order to maintain their sleeping habits. What are dreams anyway? Only dreams! But maybe these are the biggest clues we have. But because they've been rationalized away by "experts" then we sleepingly accept and incorporate their views into our own realities so the benefits of these dreams are just thrown aside and ignored. The most common thing people say is, "It was just a dream." They speak as if they KNOW what a dream is, but they don't, they just rely on what they have been told and blindly accepted. Obviously dreams COULD be nothing more than a brain firing randomly, but I feel - and trust - that they are more than this. This is a true story: a man was hypnotised to act like a chicken. When he was asked why he was acting like a chicken, he had a perfectly rational explanation - he completely made it up! Nothing about hypnosis, completely a self-made rationalization. But he believed it. He made it fit into his own belief system. He was in a state, and rationalized it till he was comfortable. However, the audience knew the truth and found it very funny. But that demonstrates the scary nature of humans to only question deep enough till it gives them an answer they are comfortable with. If you create a piece of beautiful art or poetry in the dream, that beauty will still be just as valuable, no matter whether dreaming or "real" - it is the value of the beauty, the effort which went into creating it, the appreciation of it, which is eternal... and TRULY REAL. If I loved somebody in this physical "dream," say my brother, and then it turns out that I actually dreamt up my whole life, it doesn't meant that the love was worthless. That feeling of love was REAL and eternal. It was "God" creating, expressing, and experiencing - in this case love... truly eternally real. Nothing is real, but everything is. Life is the creation AND the creator - The truth and the illusion. The grand contradiction.
